Laboratory ServicesResearch and analysis are the keys to developing, optimizing and troubleshooting catalyst technologies.

Environex operates an analytical research laboratory as an integral part of our DeNOx, PGM and Process Technology groups. We provide independent analytical testing from measuring oxygen storage to particle size distribution. We develop specialized tests for your need such as accelerated aging, catalyst adhesion, measurement of heat content of a gas and vibration resistance.

Environex’s material testing and research laboratory offers the following services:

Material Characterization

Chemical and physical testing of catalysts, powders and other materials.
Can be applied to raw materials, in-process materials or finished products.

Catalyst Performance Testing

Performance testing of catalysts: SCR catalysts, CO oxidation catalysts, Diesel Oxidation Catalysts (DOC) and Three-way Catalysts (TWC). We have a custom designed, modern lab-scale test bench.

Catalyst Development

We fabricate from lab-scale proto types to full-scale catalysts : we select raw materials, materials processing conditions and suitable catalyst formulations. We measure washcoat adhesion, catalyst performance, fresh and aged and offer in field testing. We use a variety of heterogeneous catalyst support types, support materials, oxygen storage materials and active catalyst materials.
